How do I know if this is the right retreat for me?
If you’ve ever felt too big, too tired, too different, or just unsure where you belong, this is for you. You don’t need to be a certain size, mindset, or level of “healed” to be here. Just come as you are. We’ve got you.
Do I have to be super social to attend?
Not at all. You get to show up in whatever way feels safe for you. Want to ease in quietly? Totally okay. There’s no pressure to perform or push through. Connection happens naturally here, and consent is at the center of it all.
I’m plus-size. Will I actually feel comfortable and safe?
Yes. That’s why this exists. Every chair, bed, activity, and space is made with you in mind. You won’t be the only one. You won’t have to explain yourself. And you’ll never be made to feel like your body is a problem.
I’m neurodivergent. Will I be able to opt out of things?
Absolutely. You’ll always have choice. You can step out, stay quiet, stim freely, or just observe. We’ll communicate clearly and check in gently. You get to move at your own pace and honor your needs.
I’m LGBTQ+ and have felt unsafe in group spaces. What’s it like here?
This is a queer-affirming space. You don’t have to explain your identity or make yourself smaller. You’ll be surrounded by people who get it. And if anything ever feels off, we talk about it. You’ll be held with care.
I’m nervous I won’t fit in or connect with others.
That’s such a real fear. But here’s the thing, most people arrive feeling that way. And by the end, they’ve found real friendships. We build community slowly and with intention. No cliques. No forced bonding. Just real connection.
Is this a good fit if I’ve never been to therapy or done a retreat before?
Totally. You don’t need experience to be here. Just curiosity and the desire to be in a space that feels safe and honest. You’ll be supported every step of the way, with no expectations and no pressure. While we use a trauma-informed approach and are providing education about self-esteem, burnout prevention, and resetting your nervous system; this is not a therapy retreat. This is a wellness retreat where your needs take priority and everything has been planned out so all you have to do is arrive.
